How to make the best choice for Cold room & Refrigeration Equipment?

Panels Choice:

1)Standard panels thickness will be: 50mm/75mm/100mm/120mm/150mm/180mm/200
2)Standard swing door dimensions:800mmx1800mm
3)Standard sliding door dimensions:1800x2000mm(H)

Normally for chiller from +5C to -18C, 100mm thickness PU panels is the best choice,but some times customer will choose 75mm or even 50mm for +10C cold room. its no problems for insulation,but the problem is 75mm & 50mm not strong enough and support big heavy evaporator.another very important thing is the price is not too much difference between 75mm to 100mm. thats why most customers will choose 100mm for both chiller 0C to Freezer -18C.

But if the temperature is from -18C to -25C,120mm thickness is the best choice.100mm is not enough for insulation,and the compressor will work for long time to wast electrcity. 150mm is good but too much and the cost is too much.too

Normally 150mm thickness is good for blast freezer for cold room temperature -35C. do not worry. it no problems.

Door choice.

Normally small cold room from 10CBM to 150CBM. standard swing door 800x1800mm is good. if bigger cold room and need forklift come and out,it must need sliding door.only for big cold room more than 100CBM we will recommend to use sliding door.

Compressor refrigeration choice.

1)Compressor has full hermetic scroll compressor from 2HP to 15HP, its good for Chiller 0C to -10C.Such as Copeland scroll & Danfoss scroll etc.

2)Full her piston compressor from 2HP to 30HP Manureop (Danfoss). it good for Chiller & freezer. price is good.too

3)Full hermetic scoll low temperature from 2HP to 7HP and some model from 7HP to 15HP. such as Copeland ZSI & ZF it can make from -10C to -20C.price is good.

4)If you build a freezer or Chiller from 100CBM to 500CBM. the best choice is Semi hermetic piston compressor.from 3HP to 40HP. Bitzer/Copeland/Frascold/Carrier are all best choice.

5)But if you have more than 1000CBM cold room Chiller or freezer. you will need to use Screw compressor from 30HP to 150HP. Such as Bitzer/Hanbell/Fusheng etc.


Refrigeration system Choice:

Condensing unit will have: 
1)Air-cooled type: from 2HP to 40HP.
2)Water-cooled type: from 2HP to 200HP.
3)Evaporating cooled type:from 50HP to 500HP.

Same compressor,if for chiller.condenser and evaporator must make bigger than freezer. because its cooling capacity is big.

If temperature is +10C. and 20HP Compressor.please make 25HP condenser and 25HP Evaporator for this 20HP Compressor.
