How to choose condenser

  Type:Industry News   Date:2017-11-02 10:00:10
Air-cooled Condenser choice.

I think many customers or users always meet this problems: when in summer and outside temperature is more than +40C, the compressor stop working and when evening is coming, the compressor will start to work again.why?

Just condenser function is to cool the freon system from compressor. when outside temperature is too high(more than +38C),the high pressure will be very high(more than 1.9Mpa),normal 1.5Mpa for chiller and 1.3Mpa for freezer.once its more than 1.9Mpa,the pressure control will stop the compressor to protect it. thats because the condenser is not big enough & cooling capacity is not enough.

What is air-cooled condenser:

Copper pipe: 9.52mm with 0.32mm thickness. but now some condenser factory only use 8.1mm or 7.9mm copper pipe with 0.28mm thickness. before Aluminium fin space is 2.4mm.now only 2.0mm or 2.2mm.the most important is alimium fin heating exchange area is not enough. 100㎡,when we meansure it.only 80㎡, eveything is too small to lead to summer compressor not work.

Normally:

1)Chiller condensing unit. 1HP Compressor will need 10㎡ condenser. for example: 10HP Copeland scroll condensing unit. the condenser should be 100㎡, FNH-100

2)If the chiller temperature is more than +10C, 1HP Compressor will need about 11㎡(FNH-110) to 12㎡(FNH-120),If the condenser is not enough, the high pressure will be very higher than normal and cooling result is not good.

3)How to caculate heating exchange area to cooling capacity KW?  1㎡/2.85= 0.35KW cooling capacity.

4)Freezer:-18C

1HP Compressor will need only 8 ㎡(FNH-8)

If -25C. 1HP Compressor will need only 7㎡(FNH-7)
